A native of Florida’s west coast beaches, Jerry attributes growing up next to the splendor of the beach a major contribution to his eye for simplistic beauty. Jerry first developed his love for photography at his high schools programs, learning the basics and entering his first contests. He was accepted in 1984 to one of Florida’s top rated commercial photography colleges. After an intensive two-year program at DBCC, Jerry returned home to complete an internship with well established and respected photographer Richard Riley. While working on the internship, Jerry fine-tuned his techniques and learned all aspects of the photographic industry. Upon completion, Jerry set out on his own fourteen years ago in order to produce fine portraits, commercial productions and freelance photojournalism in the Tampa Bay area.

Over the years, Jerry’s extensive traveling has further sharpened his creative photographic style. Commissioned work throughout the Mainland United States, Hawaii, Western Europe, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, and Islands of the Bahamas has allowed Jerry to explore and refine a variety of photographic techniques & styles and has earned the reputation of one of the best photographers in the southeast. He is a member of the Professional Photographer Association.

Jerry met his wife Marlene, an accomplished hair-stylist and make-up artist in 1995 and together they opened a studio in Largo Florida. Marlene’s salon is located next to Jerry’s studio where she and her staff create a variety of looks for portrait sittings, models, brides and commercial productions throughout the west coast of Florida.

Jerry is proud to announce he has opened a new larger studio in Largo. His passion is to capture those special moments that would never be seen… Jerry has been in business for 9 years.
